A Chapter of

OUR MISSION

The Capital Area FOOLS represents anyone that supports the camaraderie, brotherhood and the rich tradition and heritage of the fire service. The chapter was formed by firefighters, in Raleigh, the Capital of North Carolina, who not only love the fire service but also live the fire service. We believe the fire service is the greatest profession and a way of life.

Capital Area FOOLS have a fire that burns in our hearts to protect our brothers, our families and ourselves by progressive continual training. We preserve the rich tradition and heritage of firefighting to pass along to the next generation so we do not forget our forefathers that created our fire service. Most importantly we believe in this mission to bring firefighters together so we never forget the brothers who have gone before us.

12/6/05 Fellow FOOLS, the family of one of our brother firefighters, Rob Noble (Cary FD), is in desperate financial need due to their son being sick. They have put together a web site with the heartbreaking story and a request for donations. Please visit it at http://www.brandonnoble.com/index.html. If anyone can help I'm sure the family will greatly appreciate it - and please spread the word.
